    My 1957 Bush MB60 5 valve mains/battery MW/LW portable radio. The radio's case was designed by David Ogle and was later used by Bush for the TR82 model which remains the UK's most familiar transistor radio.

    My 1947 Murphy A100 AC mains 5 valve MW/LW midget radio in its maroon bakelite case. This set is no larger than a transistor radio and it still works well.
