A US built 1951 RCA Victor 1R81 Livingston AM/FM 8 valve 110 volt AC mains radio in its mahogany bakelite case. This a very early VHF radio but it covers 88 - 108 MHz and for AM it even has an internal ferrite rod aerial. Its aircraft spinner dial was a popular design on late 1940s early 1950s US built radios. It still works remarkably well and is almost certainly the only example of this radio this side of the Atlantic.
